I ordered a CPAP machine from cpapspecials.com thinking I was saving money. The site promised “Free Worldwide Shipping”, but I was hit with AED 427 (USD 116) in hidden customs duties upon delivery — not disclosed during checkout. On top of that, their invoice said AED 3,514, but they charged my card AED 3,624.34 with no explanation. When I contacted them, they refused to refund anything and blamed it on “policies” buried deep on their site. I received no resolution, despite explaining my urgent medical need. This company is not transparent, and I don’t recommend them — especially for international buyers. You'll likely end up paying more than expected and getting zero support. After checking more carefully, I also noticed that most of the positive reviews online look fake or paid. The reality of their customer service and pricing is very different.
