Setting up an account for my grandpa's care in rural Oregon was challenging. The idea behind the service makes sense and is clear – you pay a fee to connect with people, and then you pay them directly. It’s a nice way to find more affordable care by working with independent contractors. Unfortunately, I didn’t have many options that fit our needs, and we didn’t end up finding a provider through the site. I also forgot to cancel, and the service auto-renewed. Finding their customer service page was tricky, but once I did, they refunded me quickly, within about 20 minutes, even though it was my fault for not canceling in time. In a bigger city, it seems to work better – my friend had good luck finding care for her dad and had plenty of providers to choose from.

I put in a request for reimbursement for backup care, part of my job benefits. Care.com was difficult to reach, and it's been a month since my claim got approved, yet I've got nothing. When I called, they said no supervisor was available and they sent my query to "finans." They said I'd hear back in 10-15 biz days.

I couldn't find anyone to work on weekends or for less than an agency (which has people who work weekends). I'd suggest finding care somewhere else, as I wasted $40 on a monthly fee and got no help!

STAY AWAY!!! This company is a joke. I paid for a subscription hoping to get more job offers in childcare. After paying, I applied to many jobs, but never heard back from anyone. There’s clearly something off about how they operate. Getting my money back seems impossible. Trying to reach a real person for help is useless. Total waste of cash!

Beware!!!

Beware!!! My account was charged £20 yesterday; I demand a refund. My bank statement shows Care.com, Berlin charged £20. I have never reached out to this company before and I don't reside in Berline. You misused my information for more illegal actions. Avoid this company at all costs.

The company's customer service was dissapointing. The agents were not helpful and sometimes rude. One agent, maybe Karen, was better.
