I too, as a seller, only recently found this site.

I too, as a seller, only recently found this site. The assistants even encouraged me to list my car without a reserve, claiming it would attract higher bids. What a mistake! I put up a 69 Fiat 500 Giardiniera in excellent condition, valued around 20-25,000 EUR. Now, I am forced to sell it for 11,250 dollars (around 10,630 EUR). I listened to the assistant and didn’t set a reserve, and it cost me about 10,000 EUR due to their bad advice. Bringatrailer is more focused on selling fast and taking their commission. I regret using them and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. To Bringatrailer, please stop with your excuses and justifications. People are losing trust in you. Another seller asked if he could reject a low bid (50% of the car’s worth) in an auction without a reserve or if he would face penalties. Why couldn't you respond?

I am sharing the same thoughts as others here.

I am sharing the same thoughts as others here. All the reviews and the lack of positive feedback really say a lot about BaT. They didn’t want a reserve even though it was much lower than the recent selling prices of the same model. The reasons given didn’t make any sense. My assigned assistant didn’t seem to know much about classic or collector cars or show much interest in helping. It felt like it was just another job for him. With no trust in the BaT team, I now think I may have been lucky to avoid them. I’d recommend anyone thinking of selling their cherished vehicle to look somewhere else. BaT seems to have lost their way.

I have noticed that some sellers on bringatrailer

I have noticed that some sellers on bringatrailer are bidding on their own cars to make the prices go up unfairly. The website says they don't allow this, but when I pointed it out to them, they did nothing. I tried reaching out several times, but they didn't respond. It makes me question the reliability of the whole site. This issue seems to be happening more often, and bringatrailer doesn't seem to have the resources or desire to fix it.

    THEY'RE NOT GOOD!

THEY'RE NOT GOOD! TO GET THE MOST MONEY FOR THEMSELVES, THEY "SUGGEST" YOU DON'T PUT A RESERVE ON YOUR CAR. WHEN I INSISTED ON A RESERVE, THEY GAVE ME A VERY LOW OFFER AND DIDN'T LET ME PICK MY OWN RESERVE PRICE. LOOK AT THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE THINKING ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. STAY AWAY!!!

Very disappointing experience with this company.

Very disappointing experience with this company. I would suggest listing your vehicle somewhere else if you value your time and money!
