Our experience with the insurance
Our experience with the insurance company was alright. We talked to our agent about getting a bond exchange, and they gave us a quote of $360. We couldn't pay over the phone, so they sent us a link to do it online while we were still on the call. We completed the process online without seeing the amount on the screen, assuming it was the $360 we were quoted. After processing the payment, a screen popped up saying that additional work was needed to complete the process, but usually, bonds are automatically issued. The next morning, we received an email saying it had gone through. When we opened the email, we found out we were charged $1138, which was a big difference. We weren't happy about the way the company handled the transaction; it seemed pretty dishonest to us. Our agent, Danny, has been helpful from the beginning and is trying to get our case reviewed. We hope others don't face the same issue.
