I had a great experience with this company. The product I received was of high quality, well made, and really good value. I had to reach out to customer service because I made a mistake with my email address, and they responded fast and were very kind. I’d also suggest paying a little more for shipping insurance—it’s worth it. I ordered my item on a Thursday, and it arrived the next Thursday. I’ve already gotten positive feedback about my bag. No complaints at all.

Good product that arrived on time I placed my order from California and got it in around a week. I got the Metro Sling V2. The zippers are a little tough to use and the material isn't very flexible, but for $60, I think the quality is fine. Most negative reviews seem to be about shipping fees and a bad return policy, but I can't comment on that since I ordered within the US, so that's something to keep in mind if you're ordering from a different country. Overall, it was a decent experience for me, but it might be different for you.

I pre ordered a sling bag.

I pre ordered a sling bag. On the expected ship date, I got a notification that a label was printed and the item was shipped. Days went by, and there was no update. A week passed, still nothing. Then I received an email saying my order was delayed. It feels like they were never ready to ship on time and are just delaying everything. I tried emailing them to cancel my order, but got no response. Now I have no option but to dispute the charge with my credit card and refuse the package when it arrives, whenever that might be.

Customer service has been fine and responsive

Customer service has been fine and responsive, but the shipping time is much longer than expected. I live in Melbourne, where they have a physical store, but my order was sent from Hong Kong, which seems a bit odd. The item was supposedly shipped on 03/12/24, and today is already 13/12/24, with no updates on the delivery. I’ll be travelling soon, and I’m not sure it will arrive on time. It’s a shame that my first experience with Alpaka has been like this.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service, I tried contacting them for days to cancel my order and got no reply at all. Really bad company, stay away from them!
