While I acknowledge some negative feedback

While I acknowledge some negative feedback, my own experience has been different. I haven't faced issues with withdrawals, whether in terms of amount or timing. Returns are somewhat better than low-risk portfolios. Keep in mind, it's a simple platform for beginners. If you seek aggressiveness or more flexibility, this might not suit you.

It is the simplest way to not just save money

It is the simplest way to not just save money, but to grow it too.. And the fact that I can invest such a smal amount makes it easy.

They appeared like a nice site promoting saving

They appeared like a nice site promoting saving for everyone, but... what bothered me was the sudden added difficulty of accessing my acorns account. No more pin screen, had to text my password every time, enter a six-digit code, and maybe choose some pictures to prove I'm human. So dumb. They kept dropping my linked card, then I had to remember another password. Try that with like fifty different passwords. I'd prefer a 4 number pin because that's my opnion and personal choice. Now my account's locked from "too many attempts" to relink because the page keeps dropping while I do everything on my phone instead of at a desk and can't relink. Too much hassle, feels unsafe, so I'm withdrawing my money and dropping out as an acorns customer, switching to another investing platform I use.

My experience with Acorns has been incredibly frustrating

My experience with Acorns has been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple attempts, I've been unable to withdraw funds from my account due to issues verifying my new checking account. Acorns requires verification through two small deposits, which never appeared in my account. Despite reaching out to customer support for assistance, the issue remains unresolved, leaving my money inaccessible. The lack of resolution and poor communication from Acorns has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with their service. As a result, I'm left with a sense of distrust and uncertainty about the security of my funds with the company.

    This is insane.

This is insane. All was fine till I got emails a month ago 'bout my bank needing to relink. I've done what they said in every email. I've chatted with their support, I've emailed them and they just keep saying the same things to try over and over. I've wanted to close my accounts and they can't seem to do that either.

    Completely useless.

Completely useless. The whole setup is packed with ads and hidden tricks to direct your funds where they prefer. It feels like banking on a discount site. You aim to use online banking but are overwhelmed by advertisements. I also saw charges that weren’t mine and attempted to contest them, but they denied my claim, saying the charges were legit. After less than a month, I’m withdrawing my money and shutting down this mess.
