My own experience matches those reviews. Their initial online tool was good, but what really stood out was the follow-up call after I finished the survey (from a number clearly marked as Zoe Financial, so I knew it wasn't junk). During that call, I could share more details about our life stage, and the advice I received was spot on. Zoe kept in touch throughout, checking if the advisor was a fit and if our second call was needed. When we said we found a match, they canceled the second meeting for us. Overall, their communication and service were great, and their personalized advice was just right for us. We couldn't have found this advisor without them, and it's reassuring knowing the screening comes from a trusted source.

I was hoping for more diversity among advisors. I spoke with three financial advisors, two white men, and one white woman. While they were all professional, one of the men struggled to relate to my non-generational and sub-million wealth. Opted for a female advisor who demonstrated genuine interest in my life goals and retirement plans, making her my preferred choice.

They were professional, but one man didn't know how to connect because my wealth wasn't generational and not in the millions…yet. I picked a female FA as she cared about my life goals and retirement timeline as much as my fiancé’s.

I received minimal assistance from the company, paying $365 for a meeting where I learned little beyond what I already knew. The advisor, recently back from vacation, seemed inadequately prepared and didn't thoroughly analyze our financial situation. No paperwork was provided, and there was no examination of our investment allocation or a single recommendation made. Considering the lack of value, I'm considering requesting a refund or a partial reimbursement.
