The Fat Cat backpack has become a beloved item for me and my cats. Chang is already accustomed to wearing his harness, and I'm currently clicker training Lao to get him used to his harness. I keep the backpack open in the hallway, allowing my boys to acclimate to its presence and scent. I appreciate that Your Travel Cat, a fantastic female-run company, not only offers cat-friendly products but also conducts seminars on training cats to wear harnesses and become comfortable in their backpacks or carriers. My 😻😻's and I adore their products.

Overall, my experience with Travel Cat has been positive. I had checked out their website before but never bought anything. When I began training my cat to go outside with a harness given by a friend, I decided to buy one from Travel Cat. The harnesses were sent out promptly after I ordered them and arrived quickly. They fit both my cats really well and were easier to put on compared to others. I'm confident they won't slip out of these harnesses, and I'll likely buy more in the future!

Maverick seems comfy in it, it stays sturdy, and it's simple to handle. I've had mine for around 5 years, and it's holding up great. I'd definitely suggest this backpack for bigger cats like Maverick!

Purchased the pricey big cat backpack (>$200) from this company, and it disappointingly fell apart in less than a year. Despite engaging in a back-and-forth email exchange, they attributed the issue to the cat being attached to the leash, which wasn't the case (my cats don't wear leashes in their backpacks). Interestingly, I have another backpack from Amazon that's been around for twice as long, and it's holding up perfectly with the same cats. I strongly advise against buying from this company due to poor product quality and their failure to uphold their warranty.

Ordered a back-ordered $150 backpack. Waited for three months to receive it. Unfortunately, FedEx delivered the backpack to the wrong house, and I can confirm this as they provided a picture of the wrong porch. Upon contacting FedEx, they claimed they couldn't assist and advised me to reach out to the shipper to file a claim. It's been three weeks, and despite multiple messages, they have not responded to resolve the issue. Regrettably, it seems I'm out $150. I cannot recommend ordering from this place, as it appears to be questionable.

Definitely won't be shopping there again anytime soon

I picked up a harness for my cat, thinking it'd be a perfect fit since I carefully measured him multiple times. Both snug and loose measurements suggested an XS would be just right. But when it arrived, it just didn’t fit at all! I was pretty annoyed, especially since I had taken the time to measure twice. As if that wasn’t enough, when I tried to return it, I discovered their return policy included a $10 shipping fee. It felt a bit unfair to me, especially when the sizing was off. I mean, why should I pay for something that wasn’t my fault? Definitely won't be shopping there again anytime soon.

I walked into the store with high hopes, expecting to find what was advertised, but it turned out they didn't have it in stock. I thought, okay, I'll wait. But the waiting game turned frustrating. I had to be the one to keep checking in, hoping for an update. It felt like nobody was really bothered about my order. Even when I suggested taking part of it, there was no effort to sort things out. It's like they didn’t care whether I got what I needed or not. Makes you wonder if they value their customers at all. I just wish they'd put more effort into looking after us.
