    Retract-a-gate is simple to use, safe, and looks great!

    Retract-a-gate is simple to use, safe, and looks great! I've checked out several retractable gates, and many of them have reviews mentioning they break soon after installation. When it comes to your baby's safety, it's not worth taking chances on a cheap, poorly made gate. I'm happy with how sturdy it is, and it fits nicely into my home. Another thing I love is that you can leave it rolled up when not needed, and it barely takes up any space!

    I’ve bought four gates from them over the past five years

    I’ve bought four gates from them over the past five years, and we’re still using all of them. The ability to cover tricky corners and spaces really makes these gates better than any other brand. They also completely retract without getting in the way. This is by far the best gate available, no question. I’ve told all my friends and family about them. Every time I’ve contacted smartretract, they’ve been really helpful.

    The retractable gate is GREAT!

    The retractable gate is GREAT! It looks nice and keeps pets from going places they shouldn't. We totally recommend it. We had just moved and were having issues with our credit card accepting the new address. We called the company directly, and they were super friendly and really helpful, so the gate arrived in just a few days! WE REALLY LIKE THE GATE.

    This looked like THE perfect way to keep our dog away from parts of the house he shouldn't be in when we’re not around. Sadly, the mounts are much wider than our 70’s door mouldings, and there's no stud nearby to attach the gate hardware. It’s such a letdown to spend so much on what seemed like the perfect solution, only to find it doesn’t work for us :( My husband is a builder, so he can usually fix things like this, but when even he said no-go, it was a real disappointment. Money completly wasted.
