This company sent me the wrong product and didn't honor their 100% satisfaction guarentee
I had waited a while to write this review, because I was trying to make things work, but my experience wasn't the best.
I had entered info on the website about looking for custom packaging for our business. I had filled out a form for custom mailers with our logo. We mail out bubble mailers so our products are protected. Danielle reached out to me and we talked over the phone. We had to agree to disagree, but I let I.P know I was looking for custom bubble mailers. In an email I had mentioned getting a quote on a different sized envelope as well. Proofs were sent, and they looked amazing, the color, the logo placement, the dimensions, etc. The proofs do not specify the type of packaging (poly, bubble, etc.), only the measurements, color (s), etc. of the design.
When the boxes arrived, I was surprised to see poly bags. I had never heard of a poly bag, and we have never used them since our products are fragile, we've only used bubble mailers since we started in 2020. I contacted I.P. and I had sent a screen shot of the email where I mentioned envelopes. Danielle sent me an email showing me where I had signed off on Poly bags. I didn't see they were poly bags, but when I spoke to the manager (who was also very sweet), she had stated the terms envelope and bag were synonymous. Danielle did try to help by suggesting using bubble wrap inside, but this would add to the additional packaging cost, the labor to add the bubble wrap, and the bags were cut to short, nothing would fit inside except for bubblewrap.
I had also emailed Danielle a ruler showing the bags were cut to short. Our products are just under 4" and our mailing labels are exactly 4" across. I purchased 10K of 4x8 mailers, but received 3.80" x 8" mailers. Danielle stated the bags can be shorter than requested due to the manufacturing process.
This was confusing because if a customer pays for 10,000 bags that need to be a certain size, why wouldn't the manufacturer accommodate the manufacturing process by overshooting the measurements to ensure the customer is getting what they signed off for, what the proofs show, and what they paid for. This is the responsibility of the manufacturer to make sure customers get what they requested, it's not for the customer to guesstimate measurements based off of the manufacturing process which they are not privy to.
We have tried using the bags, but products are getting crushed, customers are getting mad and leaving negative reviews, USPS has expressed concerns over packages sticking together since we have attempted to cut and trim the labels for each package, and we aren't able to fit the majority of our products inside them. This is what led me to leave this review, and it was with a lot of hesitation because the two employees I worked with were wonderful, the products, not so much.
Needless to say after spending $2473.50 (+ a bit more for shipping) for 10,000 bags that weren't the size we requested nor we could use, this wasn't the best experience. If you do use International Plastics, make sure to overestimate your measurements to make sure you get the size you need, also leave a paper trail via email on the specific type of mailers / bags you are needing.
They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee that they do not honor. I called within 30 days to let them know I received the wrong products with the wrong dimensions and they didn't refund or arrange an exchange even though I called them the day of the delivery to let them know I wasn't happy. This is a scam business that doesn't honor their guarantee.
