    The service falls short

    The service falls short; you're paying for the app, not the service. The app looks nice, but the actual service is lacking. They only send an email for flight issues, and the airline tells you to contact the agent. Luckily, the airline rebooked me, but with a 6-hour delay, making my 14-hour flight last 23 hours.

    Absolute scam.

    Absolute scam. They straight-up lied, saying they couldn't arrange another flight after mine got canceled, yet I managed to do it myself in just 30 mins. Thinking about suing them.

    I reserved a rental car with Hopper for the first time, and it will definitely be the last. I thought I was getting a fair deal. I specifically avoided the listings that indicated the cars were EVs because I didn’t want one. I found a listing labeled “Midsize Special.” There was no mention that it was an EV. The first issue was that Hopper provided outdated info for picking up the car. After waiting a long time for a shuttle that never came, an airport worker informed me that shuttles aren’t available anymore, and I needed to take an airport train instead. When I finally reached the rental counter, I discovered that my reservation was for an EV, which wasn’t clearly stated. I had to pay extra to change to a gas car, making the reservation a poor deal. I contacted Hopper's customer service, but they didn’t help me at all. I won't use their service again; I deleted my account and will book directly with rental companies from now on!

    I booked a hotel through Commonwealth Bank

    I booked a hotel through Commonwealth Bank with free cancellation up to 72 hours before check-in. Due to a change in my plans, I needed to shorten my stay by one day, but it was after the 72-hour window, so I might have had to pay for the full duration. I reached out to the hotel, and they kindly agreed to accommodate my request, waiving the last day's charge and any extra fees. However, Hopper refused to modify the booking or issue a refund, despite me contacting them and their agent even speaking with the hotel. The hotel confirmed the change in writing. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a travel agent, and I don't understand why Commonwealth Bank of Australia continues to partner with such an unreliable service. I will be filing a complaint with Fair Trading and other relevant authorities.

    I booked a hotel for one night, but when I arrived

    I booked a hotel for one night, but when I arrived, the hotel couldn't find my reservation, so I had to pay again at the hotel to stay. The bank refunded the money, but months later, Hopper charged me again. This time, the bank said they couldn't assist. Hopper has ignored the 15 emails I've sent, so this company is a joke and should be shut down.

    During the entire time, it never mentioned

    During the entire time, it never mentioned that it was USD, and the prices were like other AUD sites such as Skyscanner. I tried it out and only discovered it was USD when I checked my account. Getting in touch with them is totally hopeless, and their AI is really dumb. Avoid this, it's a scam!

    This app is a scam.

    This app is a scam. I had a car booking but had to cancel because of a wrong driver name. Cancelled within 24 hrs for free but never got my refund. Family got sick, couldn't make it, asked for proof, still charged $500+. Won't use again!
