We picked Homeschool Boss for our state-required homeschool testing. The whole process was really good! The site was simple to use. My son managed the test with hardly any help. After his first day, he mentioned that it was actually kind of fun! This was his first major test, and I was glad it went well for him. Getting the results in just 24 hours was great, too. We’re planning to use them again for the next school year!

The testing helpers are always friendly and quick to help. The results are clear for us to understand. Testing is easy. You get a text with login details 15 minutes before your test, log in, pick your kid’s name from a drop down, confirm your info, and wait a few minutes. After this, it’s mostly hands off for parents/teachers. The child does the test. I’ve had to reschedule tests before, and it’s straightforward. I just open the chat box on their site and they switch my test time.

When the real test started, we needed to contact a proctor for a password, but they answered quickly and everything went well. My child is very driven, and although the test wasn’t fun for him, he finished it. It was nice to get immediate feedback and analysis after!

Although there was a little confusion with the order confirmation not showing the tests correctly, the customer service team promptly reassured us that everything was fine on their end. Some instructions weren't very clear, but there was always someone available to assist us. While the process could have been smoother overall, the fast and detailed responses really helped ease any test anxiety for both me and my students.

The cost was fair, but in contrast to the Woodcock Johnson test, this felt really lengthy and required too much reading for each question. I wanted a test that would be easier for my son than the in-person one, but this was a bit too much for him. He will go back to the WJ test next year.
