Why is the rating so low? I'm not claiming Global YO is flawless, but I was surprised by the low score. We’re currently exploring Southeast Asia, now in Hong Kong, and our experience with Global YO has been mostly good. The internet can slow down in some spots and sometimes doesn't work, but it’s reliable about 90% of the time and has never been out for a long time. We chose Global YO over Nomad because of their handy app, which helps track data usage and recharge when necessary. The app does a good job of tracking data. I advise staying away from YouTube as it eats up data fast. I went with the 10GB plan, and besides streaming, everything has worked smoothley.

I installed a regional esim data plan on 26 July in Canada, which worked fine until the balance ended on 26 Aug. I then purchased a new esim in the USA, but it couldn't connect to the T-Mobile network and wouldn't activate, despite spending hours with support. They promised a refund due to a technical issue, so I bought another global data esim, hoping it would work, but it had the same problem. It couldn't connect to the network. Scammers with terrible customer service

They cheating people. All their esim plans are half price compared to other esim sellers, but esim not working. I have bought 2 esim for, and never had internet anywhere in California. Don’t buy from those company. They also not refunding.
