Who says it’s too late to learn something new?

Who says it’s too late to learn something new? At 53, I made the decision to truly learn Spanish so I can communicate with the team at the resorts we visit in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Trying apps on my own didn’t work, so I decided to look for a tutor. I found Dutongui and am so glad I did. Uriel is a great teacher. My vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening have gotten better in the past couple of months, and I’m starting to get the hang of more advanced tenses and moods. I look forward to my lessons and find myself excited to do homework and practice every day. Thank you Uriel for making learning fun!

My partner and I just had a trip to Mexico City

My partner and I just had a trip to Mexico City, where we booked two tours with Uriel. One was to Teotihuacan, and the other was to Xochimilco/Coyocan. It was her first time in CDMX, and these days were the best parts of our visit. Uriel made sure we enjoyed every moment. He spoke Spanish with me and English with my partner. I strongly suggest considering any of his tours if you go to Mexico City.

For the past month, I’ve been meeting with Uriel every two weeks to enhance my Spanish. I already knew some basics, but I’ve wanted to improve for a long time. I’m glad I found this school that offers authentic Mexican Spanish with a nice balance of formal and casual expressions. On top of that, Uriel speaks slowly and makes everything easy to understand. Definitely worth checking out!

Uriel was our guide for our family visit to Mexico City for 3 days. Uriel was well-planned, informed, understanding, and amusing too!
