Extremely and intentionally misleading

This site comes up when you try to register you car online, clearly with the intent of misleading people and charging them. This should not be allowed. You can cancel online for the thing you never intended to sign up for nor pay for but no refund is issued. Horrible scam and I will pursue to get my refund. BEWARE OF THIS!

Fraud

They grab your license plate info from Minnesota Vehicle License Tab renewal site and charge $10.95 fraudulently. If not caught, that charge will continue every month.

I found this site while checking my North Carolina

I found this site while checking my North Carolina DMV registration online. I noticed a $10.95 charge on my card that seemed linked to my renewal. I quickly emailed AMVS to cancel this service. I hope they handle it properly. BE CAREFUL USING YOUR STATE'S ONLINE SERVICES. AMVS got back to me via email soon after. They confirmed the cancellation of my subscription and said my $10.95 would be refunded. I will update again when the money is back in my account. I appreciate the quick reply from Rory and Lara. Thank you for your help.

I’m not a fan of this site or similar setups

I’m not a fan of this site or similar setups: MI SoS seems to have shifted payment processing and transactions to AMVSOnline. I signed up, provided my credit card info, paid $0.50, and now I’m stuck wth a bunch of unnecessary AMVS offers that I DO NOT WANT! ALL I WANT IS TO RENEW MY YEARLY TABS!

It's definitely a scam. This website allows users to pay for a subscription without providing an option to create an account. This is problematic because the only way to cancel the subscription is through the account portal. This is a clear scam that misleads people into signing up for a service without their knowledge, ultimately charging them for a subscription they don’t want or even realize they have.

Definitely misleading by masquerading as a state registration renewal site.

This pops up as the first renewal site for state registrations which it is not. It is a $10.95 monthly fee for something that you can do for free on any state website! Fraudulent is an understatement!!!!~
