I appreciated the in-home review with Bart, who provided honest feedback about flooring choices based on our family and lifestyle. We opted for luxury laminate flooring for our kitchen, considering factors like regular cooking, an older incontinent dog, and an energetic young dog.
Bart measured the space, and after I chose the flooring, he confirmed its availability. Our installation was scheduled to start on a Monday, covering close to 1800 sq ft with ramping, stairs, and transitions between tile and carpet.
On Monday, with no one showing up, I called and discovered that our installation was never scheduled. We were then added to the schedule for Wednesday.
During the installation, some workers mishandled furniture by dragging it across the floor. Dust became a concern due to the ramping, grinding, and sawing. Although the head installer aimed for a speedy finish, we preferred a thorough job. Dust was pervasive, and our furniture wasn't replaced or cleaned, contrary to the website's promises. Caulking was provided for touch-ups. The flooring itself looks excellent, with the main area now featuring a cohesive look. The stairs were a worthwhile addition, and the flooring feels much better than the previous kitchen tile. However, it's crucial not to rush the process and to communicate expectations clearly with the installers.
