After 13 years with my previous processor (SQUARE)

After 13 years with my previous processor (SQUARE), they dropped me because of a new policy that doesn’t support businesses in my industry (firearms training). I was completely lost and upset. They gave me only 30 days to find a new processor. I contacted many companies, but most of them seemed to take advantage of my situation, trying to charge me crazy fees. I was about to give up when one of my students suggested I try Zen Payments. Just when I thought I had run out of time, ZEN PAYMENTS reached out. An account representative helped me with the application, and I was approved in just a few days. Since then, their customer service has been awesome, helping me with the integration of the merchant account to my website. If I had known about Zen Payments & authorize.net earlier, I definitely would have chosen them when I first started my business. The whole process was easy, and the customer service is great.

At first, my funds were tied up for two weeks, which was super frustrating, but once Jake reached out personally, things moved quickly. He got my ticket out of the "on hold" limbo, and the next day, everything was sorted out. It was a bit of a hassle, but hey, problem solved, right? Since then, I haven't run into any more issues, and I gotta say, Zen Payments does seem legit. Just a tip for future customers: keep an eye on your contract details and make sure everything's in place with your storefront before processing orders. That was a lesson learned for me.
