However, a few individuals who were guiding me in my mushroom-growing journey strongly advised against purchasing from Thick Spores, presenting a slew of negative remarks. Against their advice, I opted for another company, only to be disappointed with my purchase – I received nothing more than a shipment of clear water. Undeterred by this setback, I eventually placed an order with Thick Spores. To my surprise, my package arrived within a mere 3 days via UPS. Right from the start, it was evident that Thick Spores takes pride in delivering legitimate products, as my order was brimming with mycelium. Remarkably, I witnessed growth within just two days of the incubation period! 🙏 Remaining an active member on Shroomery, I've learned the importance of discernment when heeding advice. It's crucial to be cautious about the opinions of others and stick to purchasing from trusted vendors like Thick Spores. While some may attempt to discredit certain vendors, it's essential to recognize that those endorsed by Shroomery have earned their status for a reason and can be relied upon for quality products.

The efficiency in getting the product to me was well worth the cost. Encouraged by this success, I decided to make a second order, this time opting for LC. I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival in the next few days. Despite a minor hiccup with payment resulting in a double charge, Tommy, the person in charge, swiftly resolved the issue. I must say, Thick Spores is the real deal. As a novice grower, the seamless experience has solidified Thick Spores as my go-to source for spores or LC. From here on out, Thick Spores will be my exclusive choice for all my cultivation needs.

I got my order of Liquid Culture to test if it's good for future business. It wasn’t shipped in 24 hrs but that’s fine. I wasn’t in a hurry, but I texted the given # to check the status of my order. Got no reply or acknowledgment. But it was filled and shipped the next day. The product matched the description, and honestly, I will be using them again despite not getting a reply about my order.

Thick's packaging saved my package

Thick's packaging saved my package after the mail carrier destroyed it, but liquids leaked out of the darts. I told Thick and they sent another package the next day. It arrived intact. My rice is thriving thanks to Thick. They're good brothers.

Thick Spores is my go to for buying liquid cultures. I’m not an expert, but they offer a good range of cultures and spores. If you’re trying to save money, they always have some sort of deal going. The buying process is pretty simple. The credit card checkout is a little slow but hasn’t been an issue. The shipping and processing is where Thick Spores really shines. Every time I order, I’m impressed at how fast they ship it out (with tracking info sent right after). All my orders have been well packed and discreet. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 out of 5 is because of my most recent order. Normally their products produce healthy mycelium and colonize fast, giving solid yields. However, about a month ago I bought some liquid cultures. I inoculated grain the day after getting them, but after a month, there’s barely any growth. Like I said, I’m not an expert and maybe it’s unfair to expect the same results each time. I’ve used the same technique as usual, but this time it just didn’t work out. I know there are many factors that affect the outcome, so I’m not going to let this one experience stop me from buying from Thick Spores again.

I was pleased with the products. they worked fine and the shipping was prompt. I’m rating them 4 stars since they didn’t reply to my email about payment confirmation. I was uncertain. About 20 minutes later, I got an email saying my order was in process, followed quickly by one with tracking info. They handed it to UPS the same day. Overall, I’m satisfied with the service and will suggest them to my friends.

Needle to small.

Needle to small. Had to squirt too much LC into my research area because of a clog in the needle. Research was cut short unfortunately, as the research area eventually developed wet rot. If I do buy again, I will either purchase my own needles or employ a strategy to break up some of the culture before/during research time.

Attempted to contact sales, also reached out via their website. Purchased the 3 pan customer’s choice. All 3 were spoiled. Stored in bag, added alcohol with syringes. Placed them on 6 agar in still air, other cultures thrived, but these from 2 different agar vendors molded by the next day. I even emailed photos. Got no response. Tried to upload images, but the site wouldn’t allow it. I would steer clear.

BUYERS BEWARE ThickSpores.com is a SCAM & selling bad cultures!!!

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Terrible company especially the owner Tommy Mixon who reached out to me immediately after I placed the order because I accidentally sent the wrong amount and then after speaking with Tommy I sent the rest of the money and received the order but liquid culture was bad because I inoculated two 5 lb all in one substrate bags one with Golden Teacher from another company and B+ from ThickSpores.com and waited a whole week but there was no mycelium growth but my Golden Teacher started growing mycelium on the 2nd day. I waited another 3 days but still no mycelium so I inoculated the remaining 5 cc's and waited a week but again there's no mycelium growth. It's been 2 weeks after 2nd inoculation and now I see contamination growth of green and gray mold but no mycelium. Golden Teacher is 90% colonized and I already mixed the substrates for full/final colonization. I sent a text with pictures of Golden Teacher and B+ to Tommy Mixon asking if I should do a second inoculation with the remaining 5 cc's but never got a response. After the 2nd inoculation a week after nothing grew I sent another text and email with pictures for proof but got no response. I'm total I have called and left about 5 voicemails, sent 6 emails and 8 texts in different variations with pictures and info and without, just asking to call or text because I'm having a major problem with my order but got absolutely no response of any kind. This was a complete waste of money and time and effort and I wasted a $40 bag of 5 lbs all-in-one substrate so now I'm down $75 and have no choice but to buy everything again but I will NEVER buy anything every again from thickspores.com a total SCAM and the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. Extremely unprofessional and selling BAD liquid cultures that are NOT VIABLE and CONTAMINATED. I have added some pictures which are the same pictures I sent to Tommy Mixon where you will see the bag on the left is Golden Teacher which was inoculated together with B+ which is the bag on the right that has absolutely no mycelium growth but the bag on the left which is golden teacher has plenty of mycelium and this is only one week after the original inoculation. Golden Teacher was purchased from FullCanopy.com I both 60mL and this is my 5th run and every single one of them was phenomenal success with massive yields and mycelium starts to grow on the second day every single time. I DON'T recommend buying anything from them ThickSpores.com because you'll waste your money and will NOT get any customer support. Use FullCanopy.com or SporesMD.com because they're always quality liquid cultures and amazing customer service and both are ONLY selling liquid culture, no spores. SporesMD website says it's spores but they don't sell spores, they ONLY have liquid cultures. Their SEO are not allowing them to use words like liquid culture on their website. I found out after placing an order and then requested to cancel because I noticed it says spores after placing the order but the shop responded saying that it is liquid cultures and explained why they can't say that on their website so, I kept the order and thank God I did because I had excellent results. The only reason I bought from this scammer Tommy Mixon CEO of Thick Spores is because the other 2 places were out of B+. Lesson learned, never again. STAY AWAY FROM THICKSPORES.COM TOMMY IS A SCAMMER AND SELLS BAD & CONTAMINATED PRODUCTS!!! 😱🤬🤢🤮
