They gave me a decent loan with a fair payback plan, and I'm satisfied with it. But I've seen other reviews and now get the frustrations. I was informed the money was sent on Wednesday after debi-check was cleared. It's Saturday evening and still no funds. They should consider these reviews and work on their weaknesses.

I got a message that my loan has been approved and I should see the funds in my account today. It’s now been 2 hours and still nothing is showing. I use Capitec, and transfers from FNB to Capitec are supposed to be instant. I’ve tried calling the office, but the phone just keeps ringing without anyone answering. Can someone please let me know when I can expect the money to appear in my account?

I need someone to reach out about my smart advance loan. I got an sms with a number, but no one picks up. I’ve left voice mails many times, but no one has called back. Meanwhile, my debt keeps piling up, and I’m not sure how to handle it.

Customer service could improve. I've emailed and called multiple times about a settlement letter, but no response from collections or their other emails. It's a hassle to get in touch with them, which is disappointing.

This is the second time that Smart Advance has incorrectly

This is the second time that Smart Advance has incorrectly charged my account for my final payment. Calling their customer service is pointless and annoyng. They take ages to pick up, and when they do, they often can’t understand what you’re saying. I finally managed to speak with an agent who said she would forward my issue to "collections." So far, nothing has changed. I haven’t received my refund. I called again today and was told I would be transferred to "collections," but then the line went dead. I will be taking this issue to the Ombudsman and filing a complaint with the NCR.

I chose to pay a fixed sum each month for 2 years. Earlier this year, I contacted SmartAdvance to check when my final payment would be. The man I talked to at that time mentioned that my last payment would be in June 2024 and that I still owed...

Terrible service...

Terrible service... never borrow money from these clowns!!!! You can’t make payments on weekends, and reaching them by phone or email is impossible then. They only allow communication at set times during the week. Other loan companies are way more flexible and easy to contact!!!!! Horrible place!!!!!

We’ve already paid off this account

We’ve already paid off this account, but they keep taking two premiums monthly. At this point, we’ve been charged for 6 premiums of R1684.87 x 6, even though the account is settled. We’ve sent many emails with proof of payment, but they just take more money the next day. They are stealing money!

Poor service. I applied for a loan and have been asked to resend my application 3 times now. No updates at all. When I call the customer service, no one seems to know why my funds haven’t been processed yet.
