This site and their rules are a complete joke. I signed up for a year but only used it for 1 month. I totally forgot about the app, and out of nowhere, they took $99 from my account for a renewal. I noticed the charge on Saturday and emailed them first thing Monday. I told them I didn’t plan on using it anymore and didn’t want my account to renew by itself. My account clearly shows I haven’t touched their classes since that 1 month nearly a year ago. They won’t give me my money back and say refunds are only for 1-week trials. So many sites pull this same scam. I even tried going through PayPal, but they still won’t return my money. This is just plain stealing from people who forget to end a membership. I hope they’re proud of taking $99 of my hard-erned cash for something I won’t even use. I will never use or tell anyone to try Skillshare.

I stopped my membership THREE months

I stopped my membership THREE months ago without using classes. NO confirmation for cancelation. Charged ANOTHER FULL YEAR today. I messaged within ONE minute. No refund of $169.00. They are thieves and not kind. I won't suggest this company to anyone!!!

Despite my request for a refund for the full-year subscription, which I neither wanted nor utilized, they refused to accommodate. Once they deduct the payment, there seems to be an inflexible stance on refunds, regardless of the circumstances. This lack of flexibility and understanding towards customers is disheartening. I advise others to consider alternative options to avoid any unexpected financial commitments and potential refund challenges with this service.

Terrible customer service. I joined during lockdown, but the courses weren't useful, and it's not worth the high cost. It's like a pricey version of YouTube. Tried canceling before renewal, but their site was down. I have proof, but they still took my money and won't give a refund. I hardly used their services since lockdown. Don't recommend Skillshare; save your money!

The 30-days free trial was meant to finish on the 2nd of August, but they billed me one day early (so the trial was only 29 days). The support team doesn't pay attention and claims they don't refund trials longer than 7 days. I wish I had checked the reviews on Trustpilpot before signing up. Quite upsetting.
