From the moment I first contacted PrepScholar

From the moment I first contacted PrepScholar, I felt confident it was the right fit for us. My academic advisor, Karena, was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions. She also made sure to check in with me regularly to see how my daughter was doing and offered extra help when needed. The program itself offers great value for the price. I appreciate how it suggests a reasonable weekly schedule depending on how much time the student can commit. The lessons assigned are based on previous progress, which is a smart, data-driven method, rather than just giving random practice questions. I also value the weekly progress reports sent to parents via email. Although my daughter wasn't able to dedicate as much time as she planned, the method was still so effective that her score improved a lot. Highly recomend!

Claire Gerety-Mot worked

Claire Gerety-Mot worked with our family during the college application process. She was a godsend - calm, patient, organized, delightful to collaborate with, very knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. Our family felt very comfortable with Claire from the start, and she truly understood our needs, which was so important to the process. I also felt immediately comfortable with Claire, and able to discuss my own questions and concerns about the admissions process throughout. Claire even made herself available for counsel about various aspects of the application process. Claire honestly guided us through a significant series of obstacles. Our daughter is now in college and couldn't be happier.

Our son had tutors with another prep

Our son had tutors with another prep school and learned the most with Amy. We're grateful our son had Amy as his tutor. It made all the difference in the world for his future academic success. We were expecting a 32 at most, and our son got a 33. He couldn’t have done it without Amy. Amy knows the ACT and did an amzing job teaching our son the format of this test. Thank you for all your efforts in helping him.

I had a great time working with Paul

I had a great time working with Paul and I noticed a real improvement in my SAT skills as we went along. His explanations were always easy to follow, and watching how he tackled questions helped me develop my own approach when working on problems by myself. This definitely helped me maintain high scores on my practice tests.

The SAT PrepScholar program really helped our son get ready for the PSAT. It showed him where he needed to improve, taught him how to understand those tricky questions better, and gave him lots of practice problems. Thanks to PrepScholar, his score went up by 200 points between sophomore and junior year.

My dawter had a gud experience

My dawter had a gud experience with Prepscholar! Armaan is an amzing tutor. Her overall composit score increesed by 3 points and her sience score increesed by 8 points with just about 2 months of tutoring. His teaching methods are very effective and I rekomend Prepscholar to anyone.

The company is good. Our son learned a lot with Amy, which helped him get a 33 on the ACT. Amy knows the test well and did a great job teaching him. We're thankful for her help.

The few questions at the end of each topic and the drills after each session were quite helpful. The instructor did a good job explaining each topic.

I deeply regret choosing

I deeply regret choosing PrepScholar to help my daughter improve her SAT score. Despite some warning signs, like their recommendation of "+/-40 hours of study," we proceeded. Even though my daughter had scored 750 in the language section (99th percentile), PrepScholar's "SAT Diagnostic Report" oddly placed her below the 50th percentile. She put in over 40 hours of study, but her language score dropped 30 points. Her overall SAT score only went up by 10 points. Taking the test again with no prep could have achieved the same improvement. As for PrepScholar's "160-Point Guarantee," the fine print makes it tough to qualify. I asked for a refund, but unsurprisingly, they declined.
