I got two trial kits from Luminess

I got two trial kits from Luminess, hoping one would match my skin tone. I opened them right away since I had only 14 days before getting charged. Sadly, both shades were too light for me. So, I called to start a return. I explained to the associate that I'd be traveling for a while and wouldn't be able to try more shades, so I just wanted to return what I got. The associate understood and canceled my order, but here's the cool part - she told me to keep the stuff I ordered and give it to someone who could use it. There were some products I hadn't even opened, and I asked how to return those, but she insisted I keep the whole order, even though it didn't work for me. I'll definitely give Luminess another shot once I'm back home and settled with my work schedule. I'm still a fan of the product concept, even though this order didn't work out. With customer service this awesome, I'm giving it another go.

Received my order on time, but the item wasn't working right. When I called, the person I spoke to disagreed about the product's speed. I had to use the chat and send a video. They agreed the item was faulty. They're sending a new one, already on its way.

I had a really great chat with their customer service over the phone. They were super helpful and easy to talk to. It's clear that this business genuinely cares about its customers.

I really like the coverage the makeup gives

I really like the coverage the makeup gives and it’s simple to apply. The color range is good, but I wish there were more options for the eyeshadows. The delivery was fast as well!

I really like the primer and foundation.

I really like the primer and foundation. It applies quickly and provides great coverage. It's not too heavy or oily, and it has a matte finish that doesn’t need powder. (I prefer more coverage as I get older). Another big plus is how it smooths out fine lines instead of highlighting them. Still, a finishing or setting product is recommended, especially for contouring and blending. I didn’t mean to get the eraser and think it’s only useful for cleaning brushes. Cons: the spray is a bit messier than loose powder, sweat is a problem, and it seems a bit pricey for everyday use. I currently use a product that lasts 2-3 months with daily use. This one probably won’t last that long, but it will be great for days I need a confidence boost! Thanks!

Tried this product every day after

Tried this product every day after washing and moisturizing my face. Applied makeup in circular motions, about two coats. Asked my spouse, and he couldn't see any makeup on my face. Checked with friends and family, and none of them noticed I had makeup on. Even with two layers, my brown marks were still visible.

The company needs to improve

The company needs to improve the makeup color. I suggest they provide clearer instructions for using the primer and makeup. Also, they should include more setting spray with their makeup.

I got the order quickly. The product is good and the skin color was almost right. If I don’t get any orders I didn’t make, this company will be easy to deal with.

They said the first month would cost 29.00 plus shipping, but then they took 49.67 from me after that. They didn’t mention a bunch of extra charges. It turned out to be a subscripton, which I didn’t sign up for. I ended it right away.
