I got Jumpspeak for my 80-year-old mom

I got Jumpspeak for my 80-year-old mom, who’d been practicing Spanish for nearly two years with another app. Now she’s glued to her phone, excitedly going through her lessons. For the first time since starting Spanish, we saw her talking naturally with our Mexican friends. The way Jumpspeak works and the app’s design make it easy to understand, and the conversations feel so real that it keeps you wanting to continue. I realy hope Jumpspeak does amazing. I’d like to use it to learn Arabic someday.

I tried out JumpSpeak and while there were a few problems that should be fixed, their customer service handled everything well. When I asked for a refund, I was pleased to see it was processed quickly. The concept of JumpSpeak is strong, and I believe the issues I experienced will be addressed in the future. I'll check back later to see any improvements. Overall, a promising idea.

The Jumpspeak method is really smart as it does the same exercise in four different forms! Speaking in French is always a bit scary, but Jumpspeak has helped me feel more confident! The customer support team was also helpful when I had a problem with the tech side of things. Thanks a lot!

I’ve explored various methods to learn Italian, and Jumpspeak stands out as the best option I’ve discovered. It focuses on listening and speaking in real-life situations. Additionally, their customer service is fast to address inquiries and resolve issues online.

    I'm really enjoying this app

I'm really enjoying this app. The layout is great and I appreciate how it motivates you to speak and helps with getting the right pronunciation. My confidence is growing each day. The customer service is also fantastic when I reached out. They were very helpful.

    The customer support is good.

The customer support is good. They keep bringing new ideas and innovations. They use practical examples. My only issue is the icon that flashes while speaking, which can be distracting... but they are trying to find ways to disable that feature.

I just began using Jumpspeak after using Duolingo for a while since I think the buzz is right that speaking is key to learning. The first lessons felt really simple, but I'm liking the more complex ones a lot better.

Plenty of messages sent. I don’t really need so many but it might help some people. Cancelling was simple once I saw it wasn’t the best fit for me. Might give it another shot if I have more time later.

I think the app is useful for beginners.

I think the app is useful for beginners. Since I am already pretty fluent in Spanish but wanted to get better with the various tenses, I joined after doing a quick test to check my language level. Still, even after picking the highest level, it felt too simple for me. What bothered me was the voice recognition mistake I kept facing. What I really liked was how fast Customer Service refunded my payment (100 day money back guarantee) when I couldn’t find the option to ask for it during the subscription cancelation. They made the website process of cancelling quite tricky. If only the app language was that hard... ;)

    I liked the useful content

I liked the useful content, but I cancelled because I need a tool like a word list to review what I've learned without repeating whole lessons. Cancelling and getting a refund wasn't simple. The 100-day refund is only available if you signed up on the site. You have to cancel by finding the jump speak billing link on the "help" page, wait for a cancel link in your email, and then email support to ask for the refund. They did return the money fast. I can see they are trying hard to make customers happy and improve things.

The App is really handy and simple to use.

The App is really handy and simple to use. It offers lots of options for learning a new language—writing, speaking, listening, and reading. My only problem was that English, which isn't my first language, is the base language, so it's a bit tricky to learn another language through a third one, especially with grammar. The customer support is good, replying within a day or even quicker, and the refund process works smoothly. I'll keep using this App to watch how they develop.

Customer support and service were really good. They answered fast when I had problems with the app and gave me a refund since the app didn’t fully fit what I wanted. Still, I like many things about what they offer and will watch this option for later.

It’s still early for me, but from what I’ve seen the App looks decent, I ran into a problem with the free trial period not working, but it got sorted out really fast. So far, I’m happy with it.

    Great concept.

Great concept. Sadly, the voice recognition, particularly in the AI section, is poor. Many sentences, even basic ones, I need to repeat several times for it to work. My French is understood well by native speakers 95% of the time, but this app only gets it right about 5% of the time. It makes it nearly unusable. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of clear instructions. I will be canceling.

I joined the £45 trial for one year. Later, I was charged £79 and £269 for 15 hours of tutoring – it will renew in two weeks. I tried to cancel or get a refund on the website, but there’s no option to do that. I did not agree to any extra services. Avoid signing up! Be careful!!!

Actually more a scam that tricks you into signing up for services you don't want

This company should be avoided. They say one thing to get you to sign up, then they try and trick you into signing up for more service you thought were included. There are better more honest language apps available instead of this scam company that appears to pay people to write fake positive reviews.
