They're alright, my kiddo enjoys the activities and learning they offer. Only downside is the price, £5.98 a month, which is higher than Rooster, £20 a year. My kid likes being independent but had trouble withdrawing money, seems like there are fees.

I thought that using the GoHenry card abroad would be free of charges. But during a recent trip to New York with my 15-year-old daughter, we tested this by using our cards for the same purchases—her GoHenry card and my regular credit card with no international fees. We found that the GoHenry card cost 3% more on the exchange rate. It seems like GoHenry is hiding a 3% conversion fee, despite claiming the card is fee-free internationally. This feels misleading, and I might need to bring this up with the FO.

I wouldn't suggest this company - Like others have mentioned, they don't seem keen on giving money back. My kid got a Junior ISA opened by mistake - when I told them, it's been a mess. They keep ignoring me, and the info they give is wrong. They said it'd take 10 days on March 1st, and I'm still waiting. The ISA is closed now, but I don't know where the money is. They say it takes time to transfer from Junior ISA to GoHenry account - Unbelievable in 2024, and I don't buy it. Just based on customer service, I wouldn't recommend them - Once you try to leave, the service gets all over the place.
