    Duolingo is a really good

    Duolingo is a really good language-learning app. It helps you learn a lot, although sometimes those reminders to practice every day can be a bit bothersome. But hey, they do help you learn, so that's a plus. The streak thing can feel like a bit of pressure though, which is why I didn't give it a full 5 stars. But hey, if you're not into the whole leaderboard thing, you can just turn it off in settings.

    After dedicating 14 months to learning

    After dedicating 14 months to learning Italian and recently visiting Italy, my experience with the training falls short of expectations. The focus on vocabulary like horse, cow, and bird doesn't align well with practical travel needs in places like Rome. Despite achieving Diamond 1st place status and earning points consistently, the lessons provided limited real-world application. I intend to continue using Duolingo, but Babbel will now serve as my primary language tool for the upcoming year for a comparative perspective.

    Overall, the app is good.

    Overall, the app is good. However, my issue is that my animations, like the Duolingo bird walking during loading, don't function; they stay in idle mode. I've tried restarting and updating the app, but the problem persists. I prefer animations as they add character to the experience. It seems like a bug, so fixing it would be appreciated.

    It was okay before, but now it's just awful.

    It was okay before, but now it's just awful. It randomly shuts down, loses progress you've already made, and removes goals you've finished. I've reported many times when my answers were right, and they said they were wrong. They send a happy email saying my claim was accepted - they should be embarrassed, not happy. Also, the customer service is useless. I'm done with it.
