I recently noticed a £6.95 charge after selling my phone on webuyanyphone.com. I never agreed to any free trial for this service, nor did I approve any payment through direct debit. I've cancelled the payment and asked for a refund. This is very misleading, and I will be getting in touch with trading standards about it.

I sold my old phone on webuyanyphone.com
I sold my old phone on webuyanyphone.com and ended up being signed up for a "trial" to CyberSentry. I never agreed to this trial, and it was worrying to find out that my bank details were shared between companies without my permission. I've now cancelled the direct debit.

I sold my phone to We Buy Any Phone, then they enrolled me in this without asking or informing me, saying it was a free trial. I’ve reported it to my bank as fraud. Terrible experience, won’t be dealing with either company again.
