    Kevin was amazing!

    Kevin was amazing! We were in a rush to find a solution. I reached out to Kevin at 10 PM on the website, set up a call for the next day at 10 AM, and he came in person for a demo on the same day at 2 PM. We sealed the deal by 3 PM! The product arrived in less than 2 business days, and Kevin came back to make sure everything was set up correctly. Kevin's customer service was incredible!

    Clover POS proved disastrous for our small business. A substantial scam drained thousands, and Clover irresponsibly released funds without notice. Despite presenting clear evidence of the fraud, they sided with the scammer, offering no help in recovering our losses. Adding to the chaos, they imposed a hold on future payments, compounding our troubles. Communication was inconsistent and unhelpful, making the situation worse. Clover's inadequate security measures and lack of support jeopardized our business, creating a financial nightmare. I strongly caution against using Clover POS due to its failure to protect businesses from scams and its inability to provide effective customer assistance during critical incidents.

    They are absolutely the WORST!!

    They are absolutely the WORST!! Attempting to reach someone for assistance has become an absolute nightmare. Each attempt results in endless transfers and prolonged periods of being on hold. A mind-numbing 1 hour and 6 minutes on the first call, and here I am again, typing this review during another excruciating 46 minutes on hold. The level of customer service is downright HORRIBLE!! Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your needs. Avoid Clover at all costs!! Giving them ZERO STARS would still be too generous.

    They took my money for a card reader linked

    They took my money for a card reader linked to an account I can't access. When I asked for a refund, I got tons of excuses and a list of 15 wrong phone numbers. One number they gave was for a vacation hotline to close my account! Another time, they sent me to a different card company that has nothing to do with them. If you’re using this service, keep an eye on your account. They will take your money and refuse to return it, giving endless excuses.

    I’ve written a bad review before and got one of those robot responses asking me to email "clienthelp..." I already tried that before my first review and all I got back were links to a pointless Help page. They don’t seem to understand. If you cut corners on customer support, your ratings won’t ever improve.

    When I first saw the Clover machine at a trade show, I knew it was something special. The vendor made it look so simple to use. Back at my store, I told my manager to check it out. She did, and we met with David Steinberg, the rep. David was fantastic—answered every question and guided us through the setup. Switching to Clover has been a game-changer for our small business. With often just one sales clerk, it has sped up customer checkouts significantly. My team loves it! David’s support has been incredible, always available—even on vacation.     Back in May 2024, I set up an account with Clover and got to chat with this awesome guy, Jason Sheridan. Fast forward to July 2025, I needed to reopen my account and was a bit worried it might be a hassle. But guess what? I still had Jason's number from way back, so I gave it a ring. Had to leave a voicemail, but he got back to me in no time. Within just 10 minutes, I was all set to use my Clover device again. It's amazing how smooth they make the whole process, even for folks like me who don't do tons of sales. Big shoutout to Jason and the whole Clover crew!

    I've been using Clover for over a year now and I gotta say, it’s super user friendly and setting it up was a breeze. Tracking daily sales is so easy, it really helps with managing inventory. Tax season is less stressful too, thanks to all the organized data. But, the customer service could use some work. My last call with them was almost a year ago and it wasn’t the best experience. Nowadays, I just go through my local bank for questions since they know us and it's way quicker. Overall, pretty happy with Clover, but wish their support was better.

    I've been using the Clover platform for my coffee shop for a while now. Initially, things were smooth, but recently, their rewards program has been a mess. At the start of the year, customers weren't getting their points because of issues. We set up our system to give $5 rewards after 60 points, but suddenly, the software started giving 10 points per dollar spent. So, a customer spending $14 got 140 points instead of 14, causing them to earn rewards too quickly. In one day, we lost $95 in unearned rewards. Over three weeks, it added up to around $1000. We had to turn off the rewards program as a result. I suspect many other retailers are facing the same problem, but it's tough to notice. We've shown Clover the issue, but I'm not hopeful they'll fix our losses.

    I signed up with Clover because their rates were decent, but things went south the moment I had an issue. Calling customer service was a nightmare, always taking at least 20 minutes. When my company moved last year, changing the address with Clover was a real headache. They insisted on a utility bill as proof, even though I had just moved and didn’t have one yet. They wouldn’t accept a landlord letter or an HMRC document. Important papers were still sent to my old address until I could show a utility bill, which took months. Dealing with different reps every time and their so-called "personal concierge" was useless. Canceling my policy was another mess; I was overcharged by £200 and had to dispute it. They even took another month’s fee after my final invoice. Their PCI compliance process has become overly complicated too, unless you pay them £15.99 a month to handle it. I gave them 2 stars because they're fine until you need support. Switched to a new provider with better rates and local support. Sorry Clover, but poor service loses customers.

    I've been running my small business for nearly 30 years, and my experience with Clover has been quite the rollercoaster. While their equipment works well, their customer service is a mess. My current Clover setup, which I got just three years ago, is now considered outdated, and they wanted to charge me $3,874 for new equipment! After some haggling, they dropped the price to $2,174, but it still felt like a rip-off. I decided to look elsewhere and found a deal where I could get the latest equipment for just $900 after a rebate. When I called to cancel my Clover service, they suddenly offered me free equipment but insisted I was still on the hook for a year-long lease and early cancellation fees. This is not how you treat loyal customers. Over the past three years, I’ve paid enough to buy multiple machines. Clover really needs to fix this mess.
