I switched to Brave some time ago, and it's been working well for me. I don't really care about the VPN, news, wallets, rewards, or any of that, I just need a browser that functions. And Brave does a good job in that area! Sync, extensions, password management, mobile version - everything works as it should. The only issue I've noticed is that sometimes pages don't load correctly. It's not often, but it still means I need a "backup" browser just in case.

I've been using Brave for a long time and it's been great. However, this morning, the new update started acting like ad-blocking software on YouTube. I went back to an earlier version of Brave and everything is fine now.

I've been using Brave for some time. After the recent update, I keep seeing the error "needs permission to download" when trying to save files or attachements from emails. There is no way to get help from Brave. No email, no phone support, and no live chat. The community forum is usless. Still trying to figure out how to download files with Brave. Might have to look for another browser.

It’s quite the character, this one.

It’s quite the character, this one. On the outside, it looks like a pro—blocks ads and trackers, keeping the usual troublemakers from snooping where they don’t belong. It makes browsing feel like strolling down a nice, clean street instead of a chaotic mess full of pop-ups and shady sites. But once you take a closer look, you start to notice some issues. Pages freeze up like they’ve seen a ghost, some sites don’t work for no clear reason, and don’t get me started on the syncing issues between mobile and desktop. One second everything’s fine, the next it’s like the whole system just forgot what it was supposed to be doing. Then there’s the crypto thing. It’s all about these Basic Attention Tokens—some kind of futuristic currency you get for watching “privacy-friendly” ads. Feels less like a browser and more like a casino trying to rope you into a game you didn’t even ask for. Maybe some people like the gamble, but most just wanna browse the web without feeling like they’re caught up in some crypto scheme.
