The interactive lessons were enjoyable and engaging.

The interactive lessons were enjoyable and engaging. I didn’t know how to secure my boat before this course. I also discovered the purpose of the colored lights on my boat, how to dock properly, and who has priority on the water. I’m pleased this course was available.

    The company's information was good

The company's information was good and mixed media and quiz well. What really stood out was how they delivered it. The technical stuff was perfect; I could stop and start where I stopped.

The course exceeded my expectations with its thoroughness

The course exceeded my expectations with its thoroughness, organization, and well-paced content, maximizing learning before the final exam. Despite feeling overwhelmed at times due to the wealth of information, the structured approach ensured I absorbed the necessary knowledge. This approach proved successful, as I passed the exam on my first attempt. I highly recommend this course for its detailed content and strategic design that enhances learning and ensures success.

The app proved to be a convenient

The app proved to be a convenient tool for obtaining my boaters license. However, a notable drawback is the inability to skip sections previously answered correctly after failing a quiz. I suggest enhancing the explanation of junction buoys for better clarity. Despite these points, the overall experience with the app was positive and facilitated the process of acquiring my boaters license.

The test and service were satisfactory

The test and service were satisfactory, and I gained valuable insights. However, it has now been more than 3-4 weeks, and I'm yet to receive my preinate card. I've diligently checked my emails, but there's no information indicating a shipment failure or any updates regarding the delay.

As a seasoned boater, I enrolled in this

As a seasoned boater, I enrolled in this service to obtain my required boater's card for California. Unfortunately, I missed the 90-day completion window for the online course, unaware of the time restriction. When I contacted customer service seeking reinstatement, I encountered hostility. The representative accused me of seeking free services and revoked my access, insisting on a new payment. It's disheartening that Boater-Ed prioritizes profit over customer service, especially when other companies provide free education and testing with only state card fees. A disappointing experience highlighting their questionable practices.
