The movers did a good job! Mike and his team arrived on time and started working immediately. We had a lot of big and heavy boxes, along with furniture, TVs, and other items. They handled everything with care and made the process smooth. The pricing was fair for the service provided.

I recently used Shleppers for a local move. The prices were fair, and they showed up prepared to get the job done. They finished the move in one day, which was nice. The team was friendly, and I think their prices are good. I would recommend their services.

I’ve used this company a few times for local moves in the NY area, always with the same estimator who did a good job. I even recommended them to friends and family. However, things went downhill fast after two long distance moves. The Long Distance Manager mishandled my credit card, charging way more than agreed, and refused to fix the issue even after multiple emails and calls. Eventually, the overcharge was corrected, but the trouble didn’t end there. They insisted we had to stay home for a 2-week delivery window, which was really inconvenient. Then, they made us pay an extra $900+ to accommodate their oversized vehicle, but they didn’t use it. Instead, they sent a regular van with fewer crew members and didn’t give us any notice about the change. Even though they didn’t incur extra costs, they refused to refund us. To make matters worse, despite paying for full coverage, two boxes went missing, and they’re offering us a tiny amount as compensation. My advice: Avoid this company if you need a long distance move!
