    I purchased my BMW from Shift in 2022.

    I purchased my BMW from Shift in 2022. I’m based in North Carolina and faced some issues with the title. During that period, Shift covered the cost of a rental car for me, which I used for several weeks. The BMW I bought is a 2013 model with only 22,000 miles. I’m really happy with the car, it’s probably one of the best cars I’ve owned, and it felt almost new when I got it. I’d definitely recommend Shift to others and hope they work through the challenges they are facing.

    Found a good used car at Shift.

    Found a good used car at Shift. Saw it online, made an appointment, and Dakota helped us throughout. Smooth process, traded our old car easily. Had some issues after leaving but Dakota sorted it out well. Recommend getting warranties for unexpected problems and asking for Dakota for good service!

    The company really came through

    The company really came through with their at-home test drive service. It was so convenient to schedule, and the agent who visited was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Made our decision much easier without the hassle of visiting a dealership.

    The entire process went well

    The entire process went well, and the payment was done in 3-5 business days. However, after I handed the car over to Shift, communication was poor. There was no way to see if the inspection was done or when I’d get the money. Also, calling customer service several times didn’t help.

    Shift was awesome!

    Shift was awesome! They wer rilly good with custmr servis, n' they made buyin' a car super easy. I got to try a few cars before pickin' one, n' they were reel helpful all the way. I'd totally suggest 'em!

    Service is good

    Service is good, but their communication skills need some improvement. Whenever I needed help or had a question, they were quick to provide a solution and their customer service was very friendly and accommodating. However, I did encounter some issues with communication, specifically with delays in response and a lack of clarity in their responses at times.

    It took them a whole 10 days

    It took them a whole 10 days to process my check after I dropped off my car, which seemed like a really long time to me. Even though I had filled out direct deposit information, they still sent me a paper check 8 days later. And to make matters worse, when I tried to check on the status of my payment, I had to spend a whopping 45 minutes on hold before giving up. On top of that, both the staff on the phone and in-person were not very friendly. It was quite disappointing to not receive a warm and welcoming customer service experience. And to add insult to injury, even though I was told that my lease would be paid off in time, I still got a notification that the payment never happened. It's incredibly frustrating to not have accurate information given to me.

    I'm revising my thoughts on Shift.

    I'm revising my thoughts on Shift. Despite the $1000 concierge fee, they didn't resolve some issues when I bought the car. Now, six months later, I'm shelling out $800 to the DMV. I only give one star because my advisor was friendly. They took tax and license fees upfront, but now the California DMV claims it was never paid, and I'm facing a hefty late fee. I'm extremely disappointed and won't use them again. I'll definitely warn others about my experience.

    Purchased a product online from

    Purchased a product online from this company, they informed me that they no longer operated in my state, and I had to travel to another state to get it. After the purchase was approved, they tacked on an extra $1000 in fees not covered by the initial agreement. While on my way to collect the product, they contacted me and abruptly informed me that they could no longer provide the product as agreed.
