I got a voucher from work mates and was waiting for a good time to use it for a tea for two. Had a small issue at the start as the voucher wouldn’t go through. Rang Piglets and a nice lady helped me get it sorted – great stuff! Had our tea today and wow, it was realy good. I’ve had it before and also got it for others. It came on the day it was meant to and we picked today, Saturday, to enjoy it. I had it with my son. He took both quiches and gave me his Scotch Eggs (I only like the meat, not the egg bit, so he kept the yolk parts!) and I was suprised by how big they were! Haven’t seen any Scotch Eggs quite like the ones from Piglets. The Sausage Rolls were massive!!! I wanted one but after eating the Scotch Egg meat, I was full, so gave that one to my son. Next time, I’ll make sure to keep one just for me! The scones were really nice too, with cream and raspberry jam (my son gave me his – saving it for tomorrow since I ate mine). And a good cup of tea to go with it. We’ve still got the little cakes to have – he got the Lemon Sponge and Carrot Cake, and I took the Victoria Sponge and other Carrot Cake. Was thinking of swapping but didn’t want to leave him with two same ones. So more tea and tasty treats to come! The food from Piglet’s Pantry is very good. Thinking now about getting more Scotch Eggs and Rolls. We’ve agreed we’ll order again and are looking forward to it. If you haven’t had one yet, I say go for it! Big thanks to my work mates and Piglet’s Pantry for the lovely suprise!
