Starting with the fact that I postponed my application and got assigned to work with Dr. Nelson the next year, I've had the chance to work with two different advisors. This has given me more trust in Dr. Nelson's support. I've been with Dr. Nelson for more than a year now. So, I can confidently say that Dr. Nelson actively supported me during my application process and always gave me detailed feedback on many topics quickly. I'm impressed by his knowledge, his constant kindness, and genuine encouragement. Dr. Nelson not only helped me submit the best application possible but also shared a lot of wisdom that I'll remember as I start my career. Dr. Ruby was a great guide through this process. He helped me as I received multiple acceptances to top-choice programs and was always an amazing and honest resource. Through my personal statement writing, he helped provide the backbone to my essay and showed me how to present my story in the best light. With activities and the rest of the primary application, he was able to offer invaluable advice when it came to crafting the presentation of myself and what attributes to highlight. During my interviews, he was incredibly helpful in making me feel prepared and confident going into each interview. Dr. Amar Mandalia had a significant impact on my ERAS application and interviews. I was worried because my grades and scores in medical school weren't great, which made applying for residencies stressful.
