I ordered a few kits on preorder
I ordered a few kits on preorder, most of them came this week, though a couple are still missing. All arrived safely packed, (cardboard sleeve and plastic wrap. The kits were the Airfix 1/76 105mm gun x 2 and the Airfix Bedford MK truck x 2. Each 105mm box has 2 guns. Very well moulded with no flash I could spot. The Bedford is nicely moulded with good details and just some small flash on a few prop shafts, the cab is clear plastic, so you need to mask the windows before painting. The only thing I don’t like is that you cannot leave the cover off, as the tiedowns are all moulded in, which is annoying since I want to use a bulk fuel pod as a load. I guess I could cut them off, but maybe it’s easier to scratchbuild a new load area. Still. It’s a good addition to any Cold War diorama.
