I retired 8 years ago at 63, and with the current economic climate being tough for many, I decided to rejoin the workforce. My job needed a license in Maryland. I bought the Examfx study course. Being over 70 and more than 50 years since I last took classes or tests in college, I was a bit nervous. However, I can say that the course really helped me! The chapter studies and tests prepared me well for the practice tests that got me ready for the final exam before taking the state license test. I was so happy when I took the exam and passed 16 points above the required minimum score. I have applied for my Maryland license and expect to get it in a few days. I gave this review 5 stars since that is the highest rating available. It's clear that I am a happy camper with the results and highly recomend Examfx!

I really liked the learning approach of this service! To begin with, it's nothing like what so many people talked about and complained over. I had used another service before & chose to delay getting my license because I didn't get the terms & ideas. It was just too much. Not with this service! I paid a very small fee & got great value! I set up my daily routine using a calendar on the site, studied daily for 7 days, and used the flashcard practice test, on-demand videos, and practice exams. I literally used everything available. In the end, I took my exam within 10 days of starting the course feeling assured & prepared && THANK GOODNESS!!! I PASSED!! I'm very pleased & would definitely suggest ExamFX to anyone. I'm glad I went with them.

ExamFX was the only tool I used to pass my life, accident and health exam on the first try. The course material was relevant but does, of course, require one to take notes. The quizzes at the end of each chapter, which I took many many times before moving to the next chapter were great and the videos were helpful to provide an overall understanding, which definitely helped one to understand the subject matter from a more logical perspective. The best tool from my perspective, however, were the focused practice exams which I thought were a bit harder than the actual test so I was quite prepared for the examination.

Based on my experience, the state exam questions were phrased very differently from those in ExamFx, so it's crucial to learn!

Even passing by just one point would have been okay, but I scored an 87. Following their instructions is key to success. This course is great and cheaper than others I considered. Thanks ExamFX! The health and life course was okay, I guess

The health and life course was okay, I guess. I barely passed the exam, so I decided to buy my next course, property and casualty, from exam fx. I studied for two months and went over sections twice, but the questions and review don't match the state test I took. I've failed it three times and only have one more chance. I don't think exam fx offers many ways to learn. It's just like a textbook split into chapters. The quizzes and practice exams aren't similar to the real test, so it feels useless to focus on them. The chapters also highlight a lot of unnecessary information, making it seem important. There were two things on the real exam that weren’t even in the exam fx course material. Now I have to buy a different course and start over because exam fx didn’t provide a good course.

Exam FX was okay for the SIE prep.

Exam FX was okay for the SIE prep. I thought it was good so I bought it again for the Series 7. That was a mistake. The material wasn't detailed and the question bank wasn't helpful. I failed my first try with Exam FX. Then I switched to Kaplan for a month and passed easily. Kaplan's material was way better than Exam FX. If you're prepping for the Series 7, don't bother with Exam FX, go for Kaplan instead.

You can go through the whole test and only later they bring up problems with the proctor. If they decide they don’t like the one you picked, you gotta do it all again. Really feels like a pointless use of time and I won’t be coming back. Kaplan, PearsonVue, lots more better choises out there.
