    Life-changing solutions are rare

Life-changing solutions are rare, but this program tops my list of breakthroughs in the last decade! Imagine spending your 30s battling relentless low back and hip pain, SI joint agony, sciatic flare-ups, and even a spinal injury. I tried it all: massage, chiropractic treatments, acupuncture, rolfing, functional bodywork—nothing offered lasting relief. Now, at 41, after just 3 months of dedication to this program, my life has transformed. I can stand for over 20 minutes (from barely 3), walk comfortably for 30 minutes (from a painful 5), cook, clean, and even dance with my husband again! The daily morning emails kept me disciplined, while the knowledgeable and kind team members answered my questions. The gentle exercises, the community message board, and daily challenges fostered a supportive and loving environment. Dr. Ryan and his team have my utmost gratitude and respect. This program has not only restored my mobility but has given me back my life. Don't miss out on reclaiming your quality of life—this program comes highly recommended!

I'm attempting to cancel my subscription. The program's pretty good but I can't afford it right now. The website's instructions for canceling aren't effective; there's no "Cancel Subscription" option anywhere in the billing or account sections. I've sent an email, but haven't gotten a response yet.

I really liked how the program was set up, with the emails and videos. And it was nice that they were honest and clear. It didn't feel like a scam at all, which was good. The free 7 days of training is what convinced me to join.

This program? It's great. Seriously, it's helped me out a lot. Within a few days, I started feeling better, and the more I stuck with it, the better I got. Dr. Peebles explains things really well, shows you what to do, and checks in on you personally. I spent some money on it, but let me tell you, it was worth it. Now, I hardly feel any pain, and I can finally get back to living my life.

    Not Worth Paying $99/Month

I joined on 6/1/2024 by trying the 7-day trial. I was charged $99 starting 6/8/2024. One of the reviewers here mentioned that they slow down the program and it is true. I joined for two months only because of these reasons: 1.       The program starts off with very easy movements and they tell you to go at your own pace through the 12-week program. This is accurate but what they don’t tell you is that they also limit your access to the lessons and modules. Meaning, even if you go at your own pace and you’re done with your lesson for that day, you can’t unlock the next lesson until the next day, or sometimes until Sunday or Monday. Each module lasts 7 days and each module consists of only 3-5 lessons. Some modules have three lessons only and if you're done with Day 3 Lesson on, for example, a Thursday, you don’t get access to the next module until Sunday or Monday. 2.       Some lessons are super easy such as the Hip Rotation. And they control this lesson by combining it into 2 days, called Day 1 and Day 2 Lesson. So, really! You won’t have access to Day 3 Lesson even after you’ve completed this Hip Rotation lesson that lasts 2 days! And you don’t even have access to Day 3 Lesson on day two. You must wait for another extra day and then on Day 3, they give you access. 3.       Each lesson lasts from a minute to maybe 6-7 minutes tops. That’s it! Some lessons are super easy, e.g., the trainer teaches Side Plank, Push-Up, Bridge, Deadlifts, Squat, Sit to Stand Squat, etc. Also, the trainer repeats himself quite a bit, perhaps to prolong the lesson/video. 4.       If you paid $99 for the month and have access to almost 4 weeks of lessons, as soon as you cancel your subscription, you lose everything. Yep! EVERYTHING! The only lessons they “give” you are the Daily Warm-up (Module 3, Day 1 Lesson) and Maintenance (Module 11, Day 5). But you must download them. Otherwise, you don’t even have access to them. I forgot to download them and so, after joining for 2 months and paying $198, in the end, I got NOTHING! NADA! Not even for those lessons I paid for 2 months! I was in another program and the trainer gave everyone access to all, yes, ALL recorded training, even after your subscription ended. Past students are still able to access today, tomorrow and every day’s recorded lessons and Telegram group chat that includes discussions on nutrition, diet, recipes, training, etc.; we just don’t get to attend online live classes. 5.       The trainer mentioned that stenosis can be reversed but it’s not true for everyone. The trainer had stenosis with his L5 on his sacrum, very minimal space between them. With the exercises he performed to correct his posture, which in turn, created more space between his L5 and sacrum, he was able to “reverse” his stenosis according to him. I have severe central stenosis (diffuse annular bulging, moderate facet arthropathy with hypertrophy of ligamentum flavum), my doctor who is a spine specialist, stated it cannot be reversed. But with the correct exercises, my symptoms could be improved but I will still have stenosis. So, stating that his exercises CAN reverse stenosis is a misrepresentation because not all stenosis diagnoses are the same. 6.       I found some of his exercises on his YouTube channel so you too, could simply watch some of his videos and pick the ones that work for your condition.  Also, I also found other good trainers on YouTube who teach good posture, how to align your pelvis, and strengthen your core muscles. So, rather than spend $99 per month and be “controlled” when it comes to the lessons and then lose all the lessons you paid for except for only so few (that is, if you download them), you will be better off watching his videos on YouTube and/or other trainers’ videos on YouTube for free. Staff is great; they are responsive with questions but if I could turn back clock, I would not subscribe at all knowing that I can’t even have access to my lessons freely or keep them even after I cancelled my subscription. To me, it was expensive and a rip-off!

Hi Jan, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’ve noticed that you’ve left similar reviews on Trustpilot and Reddit, and I want to better understand your experience. It seems you’re feeling quite frustrated, and I’m here to address any concerns you may have. If your frustration relates to our membership model, I want to assure you that we provide this information upfront to ensure clarity for potential members. I also want to clarify that we do not control your pace; you can move through the lessons at your own speed, as long as it aligns with the program’s structure. This is a movement retraining course, and the goal is not to rush through the content. Just as in training for a marathon or building muscle, gradual progression is key to achieving lasting results. Rushing through the lessons can be counterproductive, especially if you are already experiencing pain. Each lesson builds on the previous one, enabling your body to develop healthier movement patterns. By allowing yourself time to absorb each lesson, you give your body a better opportunity to fully retrain and heal. Please allow me the opportunity to address your specific concerns: 1. Pacing: The program is designed with a 7-day format for each module, including 5 ‘Lesson Days’ and 2 ‘Integration Days.’ With the exception of 2 modules in the last phase, we allocate an extra day for each lesson in those modules to help you fully absorb what’s being taught and to give you the time to listen to your body, preventing potential setbacks. The Integration Days are intended for review and catch-up, which helps reinforce learning and integrate new habits. We understand this may feel restrictive to you, but the structure is meant to ensure a thorough understanding of each concept before moving forward. Recognizing and listening to how your body responds to each new movement is an integral aspect of this course. Completing more than one lesson per day may hinder your ability to tune in to these responses. 2. Repetition: Dr. Ryan’s approach involves repeating certain lessons because understanding and applying core principles often requires multiple exposures. This method helps ensure that foundational skills are internalized, as grasping the full concept may not happen on the first attempt. For example, the Hip Rotation Control lesson is actually a complex movement. While it might seem easy for you, it has historically been challenging for others. Everyone is different, and every body is unique, which is why we include extra lessons in each module and provide opportunities to progress each lesson we offer. While some lessons might seem simple, their repetition is designed to build a solid foundation and address the subtleties of movement retraining. We are working to rewire the central nervous system by creating new pathways to the deep core, a process that naturally requires time and repetition. 3. Lesson Length: The concise format of each lesson is purposeful, providing focused and easily digestible segments of instruction. Each exercise, regardless of its apparent simplicity, is delivered with the goal of highlighting proper technique and integrating core principles essential for long-term success. Following each new lesson, a Daily Routine is recommended. Together with the new lesson, this typically results in a commitment of at least 15 minutes to your exercises. For those wishing to advance their practice, this time may extend beyond 15 minutes, depending on individual preference. The repetition you've observed is intentionally designed to reinforce key concepts and ensure a thorough understanding of foundational skills. While it may appear repetitive, this methodical approach fosters a solid foundation and addresses the intricate details of each movement. 4. Content Access: Our program operates on a membership basis due to the coaching involved. The lessons are linked directly to our support team and live Q&As with Dr. Ryan to ensure personalized guidance and ongoing assistance. This approach allows us to offer continuous support and maintain a high level of care during your time with us. It’s important to clarify that the downloadable videos you mentioned are flows that encompass each phase of the program, rather than a single lesson. These flows become available after completing the corresponding lessons to ensure you’ve mastered all the movements taught. We’re happy to provide you with a copy of the downloadable videos, just reach out to us through email ([email protected]). 5. Stenosis: You’re absolutely right that not all cases of stenosis are the same, and we understand the complexity of individual diagnoses and treatment outcomes. Dr. Ryan's experience with stenosis was specific to lateral foraminal stenosis, which, in some cases, can be reversed with specific exercises and postural adjustments. However, we acknowledge that central stenosis, especially with factors like diffuse annular bulging and facet arthropathy, presents different challenges and may not be entirely reversible but can be managed. We strive to ensure that our approach is both accurate and tailored to individual needs through the help of our support team and weekly Q&As with Dr. Ryan. 6. Other Resources: We appreciate that there are many resources available online, and our program aims to offer a comprehensive, structured approach to movement retraining. While free resources can be valuable, our program is designed to provide a holistic method of integrating core connection into daily movements while having access to a support team that truly cares about your success. We are a small family business and appreciate your feedback about our support team. Your input is invaluable, and we are committed to making improvements to our program based on the experience of our students. Thank you for your detailed review and for being a student in our course. Sincerely, Marina with CBT

    Transformative experience!

Transformative experience! This course truly delivers. Dr. Peebles' clear videos and articles guide you toward easing lower back pain and help you build new habits to make the pain manageable or even disappear. Most importantly, you REMAIN pain-free as long as you stick with the routines you learn. The community features and weekly Q&As are also quite useful. This was my 3rd online training, and it was more effective than any previous one. No more need for chiropractors and other methods that didn’t work. Highly recommend it!

I dealt with an SI joint and hip problem for a long time before

I dealt with an SI joint and hip problem for a long time before I found Core Balance Training. I spent a lot of money on a regular physical therapist who thought form and engagement didn’t matter, just do the exercises, and a chiropractor who only provided temporary fixes. While I didn’t see results right away, Dr. Ryan's insight about S.I. joint pain being a long process helped me stay patient with the program. This program requires the participant to pay attention and really DO IT. It's crucial to follow the advice about not using secondary muscles that distract from the core work. This takes effort and regular practice. The support from the staff in the comment section during exercises is a valuable resource for asking questions. They are helpful, and the program wouldn't be the same without their input. I also recommend joining the YouTube meetups; Dr. Ryan explains pain and healing very well. After finishing my three-month subscription, my S.I. pain improved a lot. I took a few months after the program to fully resolve my issue with consistent effort. I also tried a turmeric supplement he mentioned, which helped with inflammation. I keep doing the exercises a few times a week because if I skip them, the weakness tends to come back. I wish I had discovered the helpful FAQ section sooner, as my app expired when I canceled my subscription. I liked that the program was affordable and actually effective; I'm very gratefull to you CBT! Life is better now.

Dr. Ryan has a real talent for breaking down complex

Dr. Ryan has a real talent for breaking down complex concepts into clear and manageable steps. His "perfect bridge" and associated exercises involved many small steps, each building smoothly on the previous one. I have grade 2 spondylolisthesis at s1/l5, osteoarthritis throughout my spine and pelvis, and extremely tight hip flexors. My ongoing middle back pain, which I had been dealing with for over 5 years, completely disappeared in just 2 weeks. Over time, my SI joint and hip joint pain gradually improved. My hip flexor pain was mostly gone by week 7. The pain from my spondylolisthesis, which had been really bad, got better, especially when walking or standing. I believe it can get even better as I continue with the exercises. Before CBT, I tried physical therapy, muscle relaxers, massage, and even tried fixing it on my own by watching various free YouTube videos. None of it worked because nothing was addressing the underlying issues causing the pain. Dr. Ryan has clearly invested a lot of effort into creating this program. Give it a go.

I wasnt sure at first if doing an online class like this would help

I wasnt sure at first if doing an online class like this would help, but I'm really happy I gave it a try. I'd been dealing with low back pain for 2 years. I tried PT, went to 3 chiropracters, had massages, even got SI shots. The shots helped for a while but I knew I needed something that would fix it for good. This is actually helping a lot. My pain is down maybe 85% now. I just need to stay on track with the moves and I think it will get even better. The videos were clear and easy to follow. Some moves were tricky at first and took a bit to get right. I didn’t hurry, just like Dr. Ryan said, and that made it easier on my body. I did have a few small setbakcs but got back on track fast. I would tell anyone with long-term back pain to try this class. It helps! Thank you Core Balance Traning!

I had been having SI joint and hip pain

I had been having SI joint and hip pain for about 5 months. I tried stretches and chyropractic treatments that didn't work. I found Core Balance online. The approach seemed right and the many good reviews made me want to try. I committed to doing twice-daily floor time. Within the first few weeks I was already feeling better. Now, months later I am happy to say my pain is nearly gone. Core Balance has provided the tools I need to keep my back health into the future. Thanks, Dr. Peebles.

Dr. Ryan's guidance was clear, and I found the lessons helpful

Dr. Ryan's guidance was clear, and I found the lessons helpful. The program requires basic life changes, like breathing and core support. I'm still adapting to these changes. My situation might be more severe due to my condition. I still have pain and need more time to see results. In 6 months, I expect more progress. I'm more aware of my body, especially my back and abdominal muscles! I'd suggest Core Balance Training to anyone seeking to regain childhood mobility.

The program initiates with a gradual pace

The program initiates with a gradual pace, skillfully leading you through. Witnessing my progress and improved well-being was surprising. The Live Q&A sessions are a highlight, and Dr. Ryan Peeples demonstrates mastery in his teachings. A notable phrase encapsulates these sessions: "The WHAT informs, but the WHY transforms." Overall, the program left a positive impression on me.

    This company really helped me.

This company really helped me. I discovered a PT who teaches about my body and the lower back/SI issues I had. He gives clear diagrams and strategies to overcome back pain. The program lets clients choose when to progress. Also, the feedback via email is very useful. Dr. Ryan is clearly caring and his healing approach is valuable.

Great program for addressing my back pain and issues.

Great program for addressing my back pain and issues. I finished the full 11 weeks and found each exercise helpful. Dr. Peeble’s videos and method are professional yet approachable and encouraging. The team was also friendly and supportive. I strongly suggest trying it out—you’ve got nothing to lose and much to gain.

The program starts slow to help focus on ribs

The program starts slow to help focus on ribs, abs, and core, which builds good habits. I use the tips daily and see improvement. I've read books, watched YouTube, made a stand-up desk from boxes, and changed my sitting time. This has made me more aware and lessened my pain. These changes came from joining CBT.

    I'm pleased with the program

I'm pleased with the program. It has been very helpful to me. I was dealing with sciatica. The exercises are simple to follow with clear instructions. You need to be committed to doing the daily exercises. I finished the course in July 2024 and am now continuing as an alumni student. I strongly suggest it.

    This was a great course.

This was a great course. Dr. Ryan created the program to really help your body/core in a way that yoga, PT, and chiropractic care couldn’t. It teaches functional awareness all the time. I highly suggest it if you have hip/SI joint or lower disk/back problems.

    Impressive service.

Impressive service. Gave me everything I needed, unlike other PT sessions. CBT really made things clear with videos and explanations. Keeps me motivated with daily emails. Maybe they could check my form occasionally to ease worries. Thanks for everything!

Great program..the reason for each exercise

Great program..the reason for each exercise is explained well, giving both insight and drive. The daily email helped keep me on course. I’ve reached a physical state I thought I’d never return to after 15 years of dealing with a moderate l4-l5 spondy.

I’ve completed the free trial and am now in module 2.

I’ve completed the free trial and am now in module 2. I feel so much better already. I have zero back pain when I wake up now, and that alone has made a huge difference. The program is very well-designed. Trust the process!

About Core Balance Training

Core Balance Training is an online program dedicated to alleviating lower back pain causes through core activation and movement retraining. Participants begin by mastering the activation of deep core muscles, termed 'Core Anchors,' and then seamlessly integrate this connection into various movements. The 12-week program, suitable for all ages and fitness levels, progressively advances from basic to complex core-based movements. These activities contribute to a robust core connection and a supported spine during daily tasks. By prioritizing education and movement retraining, the program yields lasting results, empowering individuals to resume higher-level activities without back pain, fostering improved functionality, and often eliminating lower back discomfort for a lifetime.
