    I want to share my

I want to share my thoughts on the Introduction to Python course my kids just finished. It’s a 22-week online live class, and my three daughters absolutely loved it. The small class sizes made it perfect for learning, and the teachers were super knowledgeable and engaging. One thing I really appreciated was the weekly progress emails from Code Wizard. It kept me in the loop about how my daughters were doing and made sure they stayed on track. Doing this from home during their high school years has been fantastic. Plus, my husband, who’s a programmer, gives Code Wizard a big thumbs up. This course is a great extracurricular activity for anyone interested in coding!

Wow, CodeWizards has really been a game-changer for us! My daughter just wrapped up her Mastering Database class today, and honestly, it's been quite a journey. She's been learning with them for over three years now, and it's incredible to see how much she's grown. With every class, her skills just kept getting better and better. It feels like just yesterday she was starting out with the basics, and now she's tackling complex database stuff like a pro. We couldn't be happier with the progress she's made. Huge thanks to CodeWizards for being such a big part of her learning adventure! If you're thinking about it, give them a shot.

My kiddo's been diving into coding lately, and he's absolutely loving it! He's been learning all sorts of cool stuff like designing websites and even playing around with Python. The teachers there really know their stuff and keep things super encouraging, which I think helps a lot. What’s great is that the classes aren’t packed, so he gets a lot of one-on-one time with the instructors. Every week, he's so excited to show us the new things he's coded. And it's not just about the assignments for him; he actually spends extra time coding because he enjoys it so much. It's amazing to see him so engaged and proud of his work!

My 12-year-old is always excited for his Code Wizards classes every week. It's been really great for him to stick with the same group of kids and the same teacher as they work through different projects and challenges. The environment is super engaging and safe, which makes me feel good about him being part of it. The way they teach makes learning fun, and he’s picking up so many skills. It’s awesome seeing him so pumped about coding and solving problems. Plus, the continuity with the same teacher and classmates has been a huge plus. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get their kid into coding!

    As a high school freshman

As a high school freshman diving into the world of coding, I've got to say, learning JAVA has been a game-changer. The curriculum's laid out in a way that makes tackling the essentials totally doable. Homework assignments? They're spot on for reinforcing what we go over in class. The teacher's super approachable and always ready to help if I get stuck. And those daily quizzes? They really keep me on my toes, making sure I've got a solid grip on everything we cover. Overall, this class is a fantastic way to spend an hour each day, and it's setting me up with skills I know I'll use in the future.

This coding program has been a game-changer

Let me tell you, this coding program has been a game-changer for my son. He's a freshman in high school and already way ahead in coding, thanks to starting CodeWizards in 5th grade. I mean, I did four engineering masters at Stanford, and he's still five years ahead of me! The instructors really know their stuff and the curriculum is spot on. From Python to SQL, HTML, and even GitHub tools, it covers everything a full stack developer needs. My kid’s practically job-ready as a freshman. Honestly, this has been a much better investment than any school taxes. Couldn't be happier with the results!

You know, my daughter has been diving into coding with CodeWizard, and it's been pretty amazing to watch. Every day, she picks up something new, and the best part? She actually looks forward to her classes! It’s not just about the learning; she genuinely enjoys the process and even tackles her homework on her own. The instructors? They’re fantastic—always there when she needs a bit of guidance. It's like she’s got a little coding community cheering her on. If you're thinking about getting your kid into coding, seriously, check them out. It's been a game-changer for us!

I recently signed up my boys for an online class, and it’s been a game changer. After each lesson, they can go over the PowerPoints and videos, which really helps them with their homework. They can always refer back to the materials if they get stuck. And then, there's the weekly report they send to us parents. It's great because we can keep tabs on how they’re doing and make sure they're progressing well. The whole setup just makes learning so much easier for them and keeps us in the loop. It’s like having a handy tool kit for their studies, right at our fingertips.

We've had our daughter in CodeWizardsHQ for a while now and she’s really into it! She's picked up so many coding skills and it's awesome seeing her get better at something she loves. I think they could work on keeping parents in the loop more, maybe with regular updates or meetings. It would be nice to know exactly what she's working on and how she's progressing. The cost seems fair for what they offer, and the instructors are super supportive. With their help, I believe any kid can do well and move up in the program. It's been a great experience for us!

My kid's been doing Python classes with CW and he's about to start their Advanced Python course soon. He really enjoys it. In fact, he’s already thinking about using what he's learned in Python for AI projects next year. He says Python feels way easier compared to the Java course he’s taking in high school right now. It’s been great seeing him so excited about coding and actually understanding it. CW’s courses seem to really work for him, and it's awesome to see his confidence grow with each class. Can't wait to see how he does with the advanced stuff!

I recently joined a coding class for my kid, and the instructor, Nathan, was really something special. He was super patient and made everything easy to grasp. My kid was totally into it, thanks to all the fun extras like extra challenges for points, creating avatars, and even some drawing activities. It wasn't just about learning to code; it was about making it fun and engaging. The way Nathan broke things down made it simple for everyone to follow along. My kid is now more excited about coding than ever before. Highly recommend it!

My teenage son is already on his fourth course and he's actually enjoying it, which is a bit of a miracle. Usually, it's hard to get him excited about anything outside of school, and he's not always the best at getting his assignments done on time. But this course? He's really getting into it. I think a lot of it has to do with his instructor, who's super accommodating and seems to understand how to keep him engaged. It's been a good experience so far, and I'm just happy to see him interested in something productive for a change.

My son tried out lots of free and paid courses, but nothing really grabbed his attention. Then he found Ms. Zahria Thomas's class, and it's like a whole new world for him. The small class setting makes a huge difference, letting him connect and feel comfortable. He’s actually excited about learning now, which I hadn't seen before. Ms. Thomas has this amazing way of teaching that just clicks with him. Now, he's so into it that he's already talking about signing up for more courses. I've been happy with the classes for my son; he's loving them and learning a lot! The teachers are fantastic, and the content is solid. But, the communication from the company? Not so much. I've gotten incorrect details about upcoming classes, schedules, and available spots from different people. It’s super frustrating, especially when I can't even get someone on the phone. Emails are a mess too, with different people replying each time. We’re sticking with it because the classes themselves are great, but the poor communication is really getting to me. At one point, they tried moving my son to the next level while he still had 25% of his current class left. Also, his last class was only 11 sessions instead of 12, with no explanation. They really need to fix this!

As a software engineer with 25 years of experience, I signed my child up for this weekly coding class. The best part? The weekly consistency and having a real teacher on Zoom. It’s great seeing my kid interact with someone live. However, the course material itself was pretty outdated. They used old HTML, JavaScript, and CSS practices, focusing on jQuery instead of modern frameworks. They didn't teach contemporary JavaScript enhancements like "let" and "const." The coursework was often poorly written and designed, making things confusing. The IDE was buggy and not user-friendly. Overall, while the human interaction is valuable, the course material needs serious updating to meet current industry standards.

I tried out CodeWizards for my kid, hoping it would be a fun way to dive into coding. Well, the platform is solid, and their structured classes seem okay, but the cost is a real shocker. Paying $500 for a course that covers Scratch block coding? That feels pretty steep. I mean, Scratch is super user-friendly and there are tons of free resources online that teach the same thing without the hefty price. The classes do offer some structure and teacher guidance, but honestly, for $500, I was expecting something more advanced or maybe some extra perks. Just a few sessions of drag-and-drop coding doesn’t feel worth it to me.

I’ve always liked their courses, but now they want you to pay for the whole block upfront, which is over $400. If you’re not a US resident, you can't even pay in instalments. My son has been working through the courses for years, one by one, and suddenly they changed the rules. Now if he doesn’t pay everything in advance, he can't continue. It feels really unfair to loyal customers like us who have been supporting them for a long time. I mean, who has that kind of money just lying around? It’s really disappointing to see them treat their dedicated users this way.

Hey Code Wizard HQ, I've been with you guys for years and my daughter Olivia has loved every bit of your programming courses. She just finished the Capstone 1 and was super excited to dive into your "Introduction to Java" course, especially since she’s been getting into Java at school. But when we tried to get her into the Java course, we hit a wall. The support we got was really lacking, almost like no one believed she could handle it despite her enthusiasm and the skills she's picked up from your other courses. It felt like a major letdown. Olivia’s love for programming really grew with your help, and now it feels like she's stuck right when she needs to move forward the most. It’s frustrating to see this, especially from a place we’ve trusted for so long. I hope you guys can rethink how you help students progress in the future. Best, Robert

It was kind of a mess

Honestly, I’m not thrilled with Code Wizard HQ. My kid started an intro coding class there, and it was kind of a mess. The instructor just wouldn't answer questions during class. He kept saying, “Wait till after,” but then at the end of the session, he’d just bounce off the call. This happened like four or five times! You know, coding is something where you build on what you've learned, so when my kid got behind, it was super hard to catch up. He got really stressed out and upset because he wasn’t getting the help he needed. I tried talking to Code Wizard HQ about it, but all they offered was a discount for the next class. Didn't really fix anything. I'd suggest checking out other options for coding schools.
