We are really thankful to Jonathan Alexander & Sons Moving for making our move so much easier. From Johnny and his team of skilled movers to Kecia, who took care of all the paperwork, they are a reliable group that knows how to handle things – once you hire them, they make sure to see it through. Our move was quite challenging, going from a third-floor walk-up apartment to a house. There were endless stairs and a huge number of heavy boxes packed with books, plus some really big furniture pieces. When we first moved in, we had a terrible time because the two movers who came weren’t ready for the job and kept asking us to pay for more hours on moving day. This time, we called multiple companies for quotes and noticed a difference when talking with Kecia. She responded quickly and even asked to see our place before giving a quote. Her estimate was higher than the others because she suggested a four-man team and nine hours for the move. The other companies offered fewer movers and less time. We decided to pay extra for a less stressful move, and it turned out to be worth every cent. Johnny and his team arrived on time and ready to start. They parked the truck properly, checked our boxes and furniture, and got straight to work. They moved quickly and smoothly, and it was clear they had plenty of experiance. They used different ways to deal with the stairs and didn’t even need to remove any doors to get our big table out. The guys were really strong – we thought we’d have to take the drawers out of our massive wooden dresser, but they just wrapped it up and carried it out like it was nothing. By late afternoon, the truck was at our new house, and for unloading, they just asked us to point where we wanted things. Carrying all those boxes down the stairs had been a huge challenge, but they powered through and finished only half an hour over Kecia’s estimate. If we had gone with another company, we’d probably have been moving all night. They even put our bed frame together so we could sleep comfortably that night. When everything was done, both Johnny and Kecia checked in to make sure we were satisfied with the move. We are really happy we chose Jonathan Alexander & Sons Moving. Compared to other movers, they did a way better job, and we highly recommend them.

We were in a tough spot because the mover we booked cancelled last minute. I called Kecia at Alexander & Sons and she really helped us out! She was very nice, professional, and made the whole thing easy. My husband is usually hard to please and always has something to say, but not this time! If he's happy, then I'm even more happy because I don’t have to hear him complain. We’ll definitely use them again and I’ll be sure to recommend them to friends and family!

They are on time, polite and easy to talk to.

I didn’t have a lot to move, but it was still more than I could handle alone. I called them last minute, and they managed to fit me in super quickly. The two movers got there early, worked fast, and kept everything tidy. They checked in with me before they came to make sure I was set and followed up later to see if I was satisfied. I would surely hire these movers agian.
